Nestled in a little blue bungalow in East Austin, Olive features a stock of hand picked, timeless vintage clothing and accessories for men and women as well as select items from thoughtful designers. Olive is a space to discover new work and re-discover old favorites.
Photographer, stylist and vintage collector, Laura Uhlir launched Olive with aims of sharing her ever growing vintage collection and passion for smart design. Well-worn denim, paper thin t-shirts, soft sweaters, buttery leather and silky blouses are things Laura can't get enough of and are often features in Olive's hand picked stock. Laura likes vintage that hints at its era rather than screams it.
Laura Uhlir lives with her husband, Raymond and pup, Ernie, in Austin, Texas. She loves flea markets, strong coffee, tacos and swimming at Barton Springs. When she’s not hunting down new finds for her shop she is an active member of a local artist collective gallery, MASS gallery and the author of Rad Lady. You can read her personal blog here.
